RESTORATION OF YOUR LIFE

KEY SCRIPTURES: OBADIAH 1:5-6

We all have had our plans for our lives. Plans meant to give us peace. Plans meant to make us prosper. God Himself also acknowledges that He knows the plans He has for us. Plans to prosper us and not to harm us. Plans for future and hope. God knows the good work He has begun in us and He intends to carry it to completion. It is solely upon us to align ourselves to be in tandem with His word. However such plans may be interfered and delayed or scattered by the enemy. The devil will always plan to destroy all the good plans. To some extend he manages but God always comes in and swiftly takes over.

To the text itself

“If thieves came to you, if robbers in the night- oh, what a disaster awaits you-would they not steal only as much as they wanted? If grape pickers came to you, would they not leave a few grapes? But how Esau will be ransacked, his hidden treasures pillaged! Obadiah 1:5-6(NIV).

Two analogies are drawn to thieves and robbers attacking you and stealing as much as they want from you. However they will leave somethings for you. They won’t take away everything.The second one is the grape pickers who though they come to your vineyard,they will pick your grapes but still leave some for you. However when the enemy comes, he takes everything. He ransacks and pillages all. Thus’ But how Esau will be ransacked , his hidden treasures pillaged!’

The enemy has no ounce of mercy in Him. He comes to kill, steal and destroy. He completely destroys families, marriages, careers, businesses ,health, finances and even ministries. He has no friend. Have no association with him.

The beauty of it all is that our God is a powerful God. He is able to make us free from the bondage of the enemy. He is able to restore all the enemy has grabbed. Time is not a limit for Him. It is subject to Him. For after all a thousand years for man is like a day for God.
